Equipment

  • knife
  • cutting board
  • plate
  • peeler

Method

  1. Peel the kiwi and slice it horizontally into thick, even rounds. Select a slice to serve as the turtle's shell.
  2. Cut the green apple into small pieces to create the turtle's body parts: a small oval for the head, four small wedge shapes for the legs, and a triangle for the tail.
  3. Arrange the kiwi slice in the center of a plate. Position the apple pieces around it: the oval at the top for the head, the wedges on the sides for the legs, and the triangle at the bottom for the tail.
  4. Place the blueberries on the apple oval (the turtle’s head) to form eyes. If desired, use a small piece of chocolate or melted chocolate to add dots or lines for a smile or other facial features.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy this fun, healthy snack!

Notes

You can substitute the chocolate with raisins or other small edible decorations for facial details.
