Method
 

  1. Wash the tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño thoroughly.
  2. Place the tomatoes, quartered onion, jalapeño, garlic clove, and cilantro into a food processor or blender.
  3. Add the lime juice, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pulse the mixture in short bursts until the salsa reaches your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more salt or lime juice depending on preference.
  6. Transfer the salsa to a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to let the flavors meld, or serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier salsa, leave the seeds in the jalapeño. Adjust lime juice and salt to suit your taste.
